Paint Your Present!
I can't believe Christmas is already here! Once again I am frantic as I realize the holidays have snuck up on me. Rush or not, I seem to always make time for wrapping presents. I love finding any excuse for an artful DIY. This one is not only simple but also makes even the least artistic person feel like an painting pro! Best part is? You can use this technique for any occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc) and customize for each person. Change the colors and voila: a birthday present for your uncle or an anniversary present for your significant other!

SUPPLIES ||
- tape (I used washi tape)
- eucalyptus branches
- postal wrapping or craft paper (I used IKEA's drawing paper/holder because it's just so darling!)
- scissors
- paint brushes (the flat ones work best for most of the patterns I did)
- acrylic craft paint
STEPS ||
- cut your paper to the proper size for your gift (or if you want to keep it simple with just one pattern, unroll and paint without cutting!)
- choose paint and mix as desired
- paint patterns freely! no design is wrong (I kept it simple with arrows and x's)
- cut paper and set aside to dry
- fold and tape the paper (creasing each fold helps!)
- trim a piece off the eucalyptus branch and tape onto the package!
